Our client is a luxury (fine dining) restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos. They are currently in search of an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the entire restaurant operations.
- Managing and leading staff activities to ensure delivery of superior customer satisfaction.
- Responding efficiently to customer questions and complaints.
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety in and around the restaurant and kitchen.
- Organising and supervising shifts.
- Training new staff, evaluating staff performance and providing feedback.
- Monitoring and controlling costs and minimising waste.
- Monitoring operations and enforcing discipline and/or initiating corrective actions.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
- Handling administration and paperwork including preparing and presenting daily sales reports to Management.
- Making improvements to the running of the business to improve productivity and sales.
- Nurturing a positive working environment.
Experience and Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
- Minimum of 5 years’ previous luxury / fine-dining restaurant management experience (essential).
- Computer literacy (essential).
- Extensive food knowledge (desirable).
- Familiarity with restaurant management software (desirable).
- Experience in event planning (desirable).

Pay: ₦350,000.00 per month
